Multi Agency Incident Transfer

MAIT is a digital tool designed to improve how emergency services share critical incident information. Built around an open standard developed with British APCO, the platform allows for real-time data transfer between agencies, helping responders make quicker, more informed decisions when it matters most.

Clear Visual Hierarchy

A key goal was to create a single, focused view that could surface critical information without overwhelming the user. I designed a clear visual hierarchy that allowed responders to quickly scan, prioritise and act on essential details, reducing the chance of confusion during high-pressure situations.

Intuitive Forms & Complex Data

The platform needed to support detailed and often sensitive data entry. I designed intuitive, step-by-step form flows that made it easy for users to input and review information accurately. The layout, interaction design and error handling were all created with clarity and efficiency in mind.

Design System and Handover

To support frontend and backend developers, I produced a comprehensive design system covering UI components, typography, spacing, colour and states. This ensured consistency across the interface and helped speed up development without sacrificing quality or usability.

Working Interactive Prototype

Alongside the design system, I delivered a high-fidelity, interactive prototype that demonstrated how the full product should behave. This allowed the wider team to explore user journeys, test interactions and align on functionality before development began.
